Join the all-professional Manhattan Chorale and members of the New York City Chamber Orchestra for their 2016-2017 Season kickoff as they return to Kaufman Music Center’s intimate Merkin Concert Hall on October 18 at 8:00pm.
The acclaimed Manhattan Chorale presents a thrilling program, led by conductor Craig Arnold, including the U.S. Premiere of renowned Korean composer Hyo-Won Woo’s CREO for chorus, strings, and percussion. The concert will also feature prominent works by composers Urmas Sisask, György Orbán, Gerald Finzi, Johannes Brahms, and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Manhattan Chorale is a professional choir based in New York City under the direction of its founder, Craig Arnold. They present a historical spectrum of choral masterworks both large and small, traditional and contemporary, and are advocates of new works.
