A CELEBRATION OF ORAL STORYTELLING IN BROOKLYN (SPONSORED)

This nine-hour theatrical event concludes Target Margin Theater’s five-year exploration of oral storytelling and The One Thousand and One Nights. In One Night, TMT leads audiences through the frame of Scheherazade’s tale of survival into a celebration of oral storytelling in all its forms. We touch on classics, like Ali Baba and Aladdin, and we introduce you to tales you may not know, like Julnar of the Sea, Baucis and Philemon, or other stories from myth, history, and tradition. This extravagant performance surrounds storytelling with food, drink, and musical diversions.

Collaborators include Ali Andre Ali, Leonie Bell, Dina El-Aziz, Rawya El Chab, Lianne Elsouki, James Tigger! Ferguson, David Herskovits, Adam Kassim, Anthony Vaughn Merchant, Carolyn Mraz, Grace Orr, Adira Rosen, Jack Scaletta, Sarah Suzuki, and Lori Vega.

Tickets are available on a sliding scale. Use code LAMPS for $20 off tickets for weekday performances: TargetMargin.org/OneNight
