Hello there, New York!
When I founded Bumble in 2014, New Yorkers were among the first to welcome this new way of connecting, and to really champion us.
You saw the value in a platform welcoming of all genders and sexualities. You understood our mission to end misogyny through empowered connections rooted in kindness, accountability, and equality.
And when we evolved beyond a dating app, you quickly got on board, expanding your professional network using Bumble Bizz and forming new friendships in Bumble BFF mode.
We’re so grateful that you’ve grown with us. We admire your hustle and your heart. We applaud your relentless advocacy for yourselves, your communities, and the causes you believe in.
Now, we’re celebrating you, the more than 3 million Bumble users in the New York area. We’re throwing a party to celebrate the most inspiring New Yorkers using our platform to connect — and we want you to join us!
Open the Bumble app in any mode — Date, Bizz, or BFF — and look for the #FindThemOnBumble card for a chance to attend, and to meet New York’s Most Inspiring ‘IRL’ (in real life, that is). We hope to see many of you in Brooklyn on October 19th.
Oh, and follow @FindThemOnBumble on Instagram to learn more about these game-changers, ceiling-crashers, and rule-breakers.
