thru 3/9 (tues-sat 10am-6pm): steve mccurry photo exhibition: cavalier callery’s chelsea location hosts a solo exhibition of works by photojournalist steve mccurry, best known for his portrait of sharbat gula, the afghan girl who graced the cover of national geographic in 1984. featuring 30 photographs from the 1980s to today, the exhibition celebrates the release of mccurry’s latest book, devotion: love and spirituality, and the artist will be present for a reception and book signing 2/22 6-8pm. free gallery admission (books will be available for purchase). >>
