Take your taste buds on an international journey at The World’s Fare Passport Series celebrating The Americas!
In April 2018, Festival Media re-imagined one of the most iconic fairs and hosted “The World’s Fare” at Citi Field. Over 10,000 people gathered to advocate for the equality and diversity in the city’s food industry while enjoying a number of exhibits. Following the success of The World’s Fare, Festival Media is now bringing you a celebration of The Americas as part of The World’s Fare Passport Series. Taking place on September 22 and 23, event goers will also have access to a beer garden, music and entertainment.
Guantanamera NYC will have a taste of Cuba via their amazing Sandwiches Cubanos. Tacos al Pastor from Antojitos Charly will transport you to Mexico, and if you’re craving Jamaican food, Four The Hard Way’s oxtail is just the thing. For a taste of the US, Miss Holly’s Smokehouse will be serving up Southern BBQ done right.
Travel the world through cuisine with a slew of global food vendors! The hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 5-25 46th Ave. in Long Island City, in a lot on the waterfront overlooking the midtown Manhattan skyline. Admission is $7 and children ages 10 and under will be admitted for free.
