SWEET LORRAINE
Written by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj & Adam Mace
The world is very divided right now, and it is vital to share stories like Sweet Lorraine, a dramatic interpretation of the final conversation between Lorraine Hansberry and James Baldwin. The story reminds us that love wins and that Lorraine and James were fighting many of the same societal ills that we find ourselves fighting today, both politically and socially.

The festival will perform at Teatro SEA and Teatro LaTea Theatres at The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center (107 Suffolk Street, New York NY 10002). Founded by Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer, Ken Davenport, the festival aims to provide theatre-makers with an outlet to get their shows up on a New York stage.
