Manhattan Concert Productions is delighted to welcome you to the final concert of their 2021-2022 season, LIGHT ETERNAL!

Wanting to end with a bang, MCP has formed two Masterwork Festival Choruses, both of which will be accompanied by the New York City Chamber Orchestra. The works programmed–Haydn’s exultant Lord Nelson Mass and Dan Forrest’s most popular work, Requiem for the Living– span centuries, but share a thematic core of humanity’s desire for mercy, peace, and ultimate salvation. These pieces offer exquisite, liminal moments for the audience to reflect and celebrate in our shared human experiences, while also providing distinct musical contrast so that every listener is satisfied. Acclaimed conductors Eliza Rubenstein and Pearl Shangkuan will take to the podium to bring these choral triumphs to life.

In addition, the concert will feature solo performances from the Orange Coast Women’s Chorus and the Indianapolis Youth Symphony Orchestra. Selections will include works by Tchaikovsky, Holdridge, Strauss II and more.

Don’t miss MCP’s final concert of the season, LIVE at Carnegie Hall on June 27th, 8:00 PM, offered to you for just $7.*
