The Galilee Chamber Orchestra returns to Carnegie Hall, led by Saleem Ashkar. They are joined by pianist Bruce Liu for Mozart’s lyrically rich yet musically intimate Piano Concerto No. 23. The orchestra also performs Felix Mendelssohn’s evocative “Scottish” Symphony, whose vibrant colors and folk melodies are inspired by the composer’s storied walking tour of the country.
