any day now: corpse flower at brooklyn botanic garden: something funky is afoot at brooklyn botanic garden. a giant corpse flower (amorphophallus titanum) is poised to bloom any day now, releasing an aroma that’s been likened to rotting flesh. the phenomenon normally lasts only about 24-36 hours, so check the venue’s social media for updates. included with regular admission (pay-what-you-wish winter weekdays). >>
