Monday, June 15 – 8pm

Takach’s new extended work explores the human relationship with nature, a bond that is always being tested and reshaped. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the earth always manages to shine resilient through cycles of trauma and destruction. Takach invites audiences to “look at the planet itself as a mirror of our own existence” to see how the human experience is cyclical in the same way.

Joining the new work on the program is Sir John Rutter’s Requiem, which draws on themes of life and death, perfectly supplementing Takach’s piece. The evening will continue with the Youth Choir Series for changing voices, conducted by Alex Gartner. The evening wouldn’t be complete without a debut performance by City of Angels Community Choir under the baton of Richard Medrano.

An action packed evening of music, all for $14 for Skint subscribers!
